What is classed as optimum? 
Bang for your buck, springs to mind when discussing mass loaded vinyl.  Generally, the thicker and heavier the mass loaded vinyl product, the better result you will achieve.  Sounds simple, right?  We ask you to consider working with a 10Kg/m2 mass loaded vinyl product which is flexible and usually non adhesive backed.  I have had experience handling 10Kg mass loaded vinyl and it was not one I would like to repeat.  This is where we put forward a completely new product to you which doesn't work!
No! We are sticking with mass loaded vinyl as it works, very well in fact..... which is why you have been searching for it. 

However, not all mass loaded vinyl products are manufactured the same.  I have dealt with very smelly mass loaded vinyl products, which leach polymer oil and burn like there is no tomorrow in the past.  Exactly, in the past!  

With our mass loaded vinyl suppliers in the UK we have developed a product which we believe is optimium! 

For example.....
Ususally a 5kg/m2 3mm mass loaded vinyl will offer you 27db reduction if it is manufactured from high grade polymers, where as a 10Kg/m2 will usually provide you a 32dB drop.  Whilst the differential of 5dB is considered an great improvement from the 10Kg to the 5Kg it is not all as it seems.  In our experience the 10Kg is very difficult to work with and providing the coverage without gaps is a monsterous task. 

Our mass loaded vinyl does not leach polymer, is low VOC and is rated as low toxicity upon burning.  Many mass loaded vinyl competitors would like to have these types credentials instead of selling a product which doesn't meet EuroCLASS B-s2-d0! Let alone being manufactured in the UK!  Yes, our 3mm mass loaded vinyl products meet EuroCLASS B-s2-d0 and are manufactured in the UK.
